Swooger`s Restaurant in Kings Mountain

Love this place! My dad and l go here for the Volkswagen car shows they have and the food is awesome! They also have a icecream side as well. The place can be hard to find so dont blink.

Big sign eye level says no orders after 8pm. You get long faces even if you just step in the door 🚪 at 8

Love going here for some good ice cream. Love to share a banana split.

I love me some Swooger’s.Good food and ice cream.When you order ice cream they don’t go short on the order. They pile it up. That’s the way I like it. Friendly staff and owner.

Love the food love they support our President and also some young punk opened the salt shaker puts a coin in it and partly puts the top on so my husband got a lot of salt on his frys and they made him more even though the grill was closed

Fresh Tony's ice cream including REAL banana splits!

Wife and I ate here while passing through the area. The burgers are are really top notch, I had a double cheese with cheese fries. Finished the meal with a treat from the ice bar. The owner was very gracious and took time to ask us how are food was. He seemed to know everyone that walked in the door. This establishment has the hospitality that you can really only experience from a small town.

Best egg salad sandwich and crispy frys. Also serve Tony's ice cream.

Save your time and make it yourself at home. It's better and has ham on the ham and cheese. Looked like a 4 yr old made it and it was thinner than a sheet of paper. Used to come here all the time but has gone downhill bad. You're in food business not politics. Worry more bout your food!!!! Oh and it took 50 min for that grilled ham and cheese as well. Employees also arguing in the front. Overall bad experience. Wont be back!

Politics and Ice cream don’t mix. The photos and political signs were off putting to me and my family. The owners are certainly within their rights to put that stuff up but there are other places in the area that sell burgers and shakes who don’t subject me to their political beliefs.

I travel 20 miles for the milkshakes. The ice cream they use is Tony's and much better than Herseys ice cream. Well worth the trip!

Extremely long wait time for mediocre food. Staff on the food side not very friendly. One staff member just walking around talking to people she knew, but not working even though it was so busy. Staff ignored us when we went to the counter for tea refill and when my husband finally got someones attention to ask for a refill she was very short with him. Maybe they should just do ice cream and not food since they can't seem to keep up with both. They didn't have a cash register and had to use little hand held calculators which slowed things down too. We didn't try the ice cream because we didn't want to give them any more business after the sorry service.

Hamburgers are good. Fries are okay.Tea excellent. Atmosphere is laid back.

Great atmosphere and milkshakes

The onion rings are the best especially when they come to the table hot. First time I have had the BLT sandwich. It was so good. We don't get to go out to eat often, but when do we love to go to Swoogers. Love the oldies music, vinyl records and covers for 45s and 33s. Makes you feel good atmosphere.🙂🙂🙂

I love their milkshakes made with Tony’s ice cream.Sunday afternoon I tried to order 2 milkshakes but, they said on Sunday you can’t order any ice cream only??🤷‍♀️ I had already eaten dinner and only wanted ice cream so I had to go get my ice cream some place else.

Good place for homemade burgers. I had a double cheese burger, cook just right juicy not over cooked, excellent. My partner had a regular burger with chili, slaw & onions was really good. Atmosphere was nice it wasn't very crowed when we got there but started picking up. Staff was very friendly to us. Next time we go I will try the ice cream I was so full I didn't have room this time. I would definitely recommend this location.

Wish I could've dined in because I seen several things I would love to try! What I did get was very good. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because out of the 4 people working at the time only one person was friendly. So I am not misunderstood, it's not that the other 3 were mean or hateful just not friendly or personable, especially the young lady helping me! I swear even when she thanked me and said have a good night, no emotion; at all! No smile barely even eye contact

Nice people and the place has a retro feel to it. Loved the burgers and fries. The draw back was that the chicken salad wasn't to my taste. My sister liked it.

They serve Tony's Ice Cream and have a descent selection of food. However they need to clean up and the employees need to clean themselves up and be more professional. Their shirts are old, worn out and disgusting looking and honestly they just look like slobs. Try investing in some aprons or smocks.
